Born in 1994, Faye Wei Wei is a British artist who lives and works in London. She graduated from the Slade School of Fine Art in 2016. Her work has been show in a number of solo exhibitions, including: Tiny Melody Chamber, Situations, New York (2023); The Moon Balloon of New York City (2022), Moon (2021), and If You Sat Long Enough You Could See a Flower Bloom (2020) at Galerie Kandlhofer, Vienna; Sun, Isetan Shinjuku (2021); I’ve Always Been a Weeper at the Cinema, Cob Gallery, London (2019); CFCCA Presents: Faye Wei Wei, at the Centre for Chinese Contemporary Art, Manchester (2018); and Sweet Bitter, Valentine, SADE Gallery, Los Angeles (2018). Wei Wei’s paintings have been featured in several group exhibitions in the US, the UK, Austria, and China, along with her first curatorial project, Paintings for the Temple of Love at the Cob Gallery, London (2019).
